Master Poseidon is one of the small girly bars along Perimeter Road — Don Juico Avenue on the signs — the fence road where Angeles keeps its cheaper, older-crowd drinking. The name is grander than the room. Listings describe it as the successor to Lost in Asia, an a-go-go bar that traded on the same stretch for years, and its last recorded incarnation was a modest hostess bar with daytime hours: eleven in the morning to seven in the evening, with a "night bar" sign appearing in at least one photo, so it may have kept later hours at times too.
Here's the honest status. An early-2021 open-and-closed round-up of Perimeter Road bars listed Poseidon among the closed. I have no report of it reopening, and no visitor account from 2024 onward. What I do have is the site's photograph of the facade, which tells me the sign was still up when the picture was taken and not much else. So: unverified as of August 2026, and possibly closed. I keep the page because the name is on the map, other pages link to it, and Perimeter Road rooms have a habit of coming back under the same sign after a year dark.
If it is trading, expect the standard small Perimeter format: a counter, a few tables, a handful of ladies who'll sit and chat, and cheap beer. The last prices listed had a ladies' drink at ₱150 (single) — old figures, so budget ₱150–260 now and roughly ₱80–120 for a San Mig Light, my August 2026 estimate for the road. Daytime hours, if kept, make it one of the few places out here to sit with a beer and a hostess in the afternoon, which suits a certain kind of retired gentleman down to the ground.
Harry says: Lost in Asia was a name I liked, and I liked the idea of a bar owned by a chap who calls himself Master Poseidon even more. Whether either lives on in August 2026 I can't tell you. It's a short trike from Fields Avenue to check, and there's a beer at the Brass Knob on the way if it's dark.
Stable tip: Perimeter Road's day bars are a good place to learn the ladies'-drink system without the noise of the strip. Ask the price before you nod, pay as you go, and you'll be fine.
