Bar 69 is a small go-go bar on Perimeter Road — Don Juico Avenue on the street signs — the long road that runs along the Clark fence and hosts the cheaper, quieter, older-crowd end of Angeles nightlife. It's the kind of room this stretch specialises in: a narrow frontage, a short stage, a dozen or two seats, a handful of dancers, and a beer price that makes Walking Street look like Singapore.
I want to be precise about what I know, because it isn't much. The firmest evidence I have is a photograph from 2018 that captions it as a go-go bar on Perimeter Road, Balibago — so it was certainly there and trading then. It doesn't appear in the Perimeter Road open-and-closed round-up from early 2021 that I lean on for this stretch, and I have no visitor reports from 2024 onward. That could mean it closed, changed its sign, or simply slipped through the net; small bars out here do all three. So: unverified as of August 2026, and this page is a marker on the map until I've stood at the door.
Two names not to confuse it with. Route 69 is a different bar on Constain Street just off Fields Avenue (the old Bar Hoppin' room), and 69 Rock Bar is a sports bar elsewhere in town. If a trike driver nods enthusiastically at "69", make sure you're both talking about Perimeter Road.
If it's open, expect Perimeter pricing — roughly ₱80–120 for a San Mig Light and ₱150–260 for a ladies' drink is my August 2026 estimate for the go-go rooms along here, well under the strip — and expect an older, more regular crowd: expats who live along the road, blokes staying at the Clarkton or the ABC, the occasional group who've come out from Walking Street for a cheaper second half. The system is the same as the strip; the pace is slower and the mamasan usually has more time for you.
Harry says: Perimeter Road is where I do my drinking most weeks, and its small go-go rooms come and go faster than I can keep the map current. Walk the stretch between the Fields Avenue corner and the Clarkton, look for the sign, and if Bar 69 is lit, it'll be cheap and unhurried — the two things this road does best.
