Royce Hotel & Casino is the casino hotel nearest the Angeles side of Clark — it sits on Manuel A. Roxas Highway just inside the Main Gate, a couple of minutes' drive from Bayanihan Park and the Friendship Highway, and about ten minutes by car from Walking Street. Of all the Clark casino hotels, it's the one you'll pass most often on your way in and out.
It comes in two parts. The original hotel is the older, cheaper wing — clean, comfortable rooms that reviewers say could use a refresh — and a newer hotel building a short golf-cart ride away with fresher rooms and the swimming pool. Guests in the old wing are shuttled over to swim, which is a mild faff, and opinions on the pool itself run from "nice to relax by" to "could look better". Rooms in either wing have air-con, flat-screens, fridges, desks and free Wi-Fi; some get mountain or city views.
The casino is the reason most people come: a busy, unpretentious floor with slots and tables and a Filipino-Korean-Chinese crowd that's more fun than the high-limit hush at Hann. Restaurants and bars on site do everything from Chinese banquets to bar snacks, and there's regular live music and entertainment that gives the place a lively, slightly old-fashioned resort feel. Staff get consistently warm reviews.
Rates start around ₱3,500 a night in low season on the booking sites (Aug 2026), often less on promotions and considerably more on holidays and for the new wing.
The nightlife caveats: it's a registered-guest casino hotel — occupants on the booking with ID, extra-person charges possible — and while a ten-minute drive to Fields Avenue is the shortest of any Clark casino, it's still a drive (₱150–250 by Grab, Aug 2026). Guest policy for visitors: ask; I couldn't confirm a clear 2026 statement.
Who it suits: the visitor who wants a casino under the same roof and Angeles at the shortest possible remove, and the bloke doing a night or two at the tables between bar weeks. Noise: low in the rooms, lively downstairs.
