Swissôtel Clark is the newest and shiniest of the Clark casino hotels — a 22-storey tower inside Hann Casino Resort on Manuel A. Roxas Highway with 372 rooms and suites on floors six to 22, all floor-to-ceiling glass looking out over the Freeport to the city or the mountains. It opened as the modern face of Hann and it feels it: Alpine-inspired lobby, tech-forward rooms, marble bathrooms with rain showers or soaking tubs, king beds with proper mattresses, USB points everywhere, and Wi-Fi that actually is high-speed.
You get the full five-star kit: a pool deck, a spa, a decent gym, a Swiss Executive Lounge for the club-floor crowd, and around ten restaurants and bars either in the tower or a short indoor stroll away across the resort — with the casino floor at the bottom of the lift. Guest reviews are consistently excellent (around 9.0 out of 10 across hundreds of ratings as of mid-2026), and the phrases that recur are "immaculate room", "staff at every corner", and "value for money" — that last one relative to five-star hotels generally, not to Angeles.
Rates start around ₱7,000 a night in low season (Aug 2026), with a ₱3,000-per-night incidentals deposit at check-in and higher prices for weekends, holidays and anything with a view. Breakfast is a lavish buffet, sometimes bundled.
The nightlife visitor's caveats are the same as for the rest of Hann. Fields Avenue is a 15-minute drive — ₱250–400 by Grab as of Aug 2026 — and nobody walks it. And it's a strict registered-guest hotel: everyone in the room is expected to be on the booking with ID, extra-person charges are standard, and there's no Fields Avenue-style shrug about a visitor at midnight. Ask before booking if that's a factor; assume "no" unless they say otherwise.
Who it suits: couples, the casino traveller, the partner-holiday crowd who want a proper five-star and will visit Angeles as an evening out, and the bloke celebrating something who can afford it. Noise: none — it's a sealed tower in a quiet zone.
