Hann Casino Resort is the big one out at Clark — Pampanga's first fully integrated resort, sprawled across 13 hectares on Manuel A. Roxas Highway inside the Freeport, and the place the Manila and Korean high-rollers mean when they say they're "going to Clark". It grew out of the old Widus Hotel & Casino, which is still there as one of three hotels on the site alongside the Clark Marriott and the Swissôtel Clark, all connected to a casino floor with 800-odd slots, 90-plus tables and a couple of dozen electronic games. Reviewers call it the biggest and best-run casino in the area, and having lost money in most of them, I'd agree.
Staying "at Hann" means picking a hotel. The Marriott is the classic, understated one with the executive-lounge polish and the closest access to the high-limit tables; the Swissôtel (which has its own page here) is the sleek 22-storey newcomer; the Widus is the older, cheaper, still-good option. Between them there are around fifteen restaurants and bars — Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, steak, a couple of proper cocktail bars — plus pools, spas and gyms at each hotel. Breakfast buffets are lavish and priced accordingly.
The nightlife visitor should be clear-eyed about geography. Fields Avenue is a 15-minute drive (₱250–400 by Grab or taxi, Aug 2026, more late at night); nobody walks it. That's fine if the casino is the main event and Walking Street is an excursion, and a nuisance if it's the other way round.
Guest policy is the other thing. Like all the Clark casino hotels, Hann's properties expect every occupant to be registered with ID, and reports on bringing an unregistered visitor back range from "no problem with ID" to "extra-person charge" to "politely declined". There's no relaxed Fields Avenue shrug here. If that matters, ask the specific hotel before you book, and expect to pay for a second registered guest.
Rates start around ₱4,500 at the Widus and ₱7,000-plus at the Marriott in low season (Aug 2026), with big swings for weekends and holidays. Who it suits: the casino traveller, the couple on a proper holiday, and the bloke who wants five-star everything with the bars as a taxi ride away.
