D'Club — "D'Club Fun Pub" on the sign, D Club when people are typing — is one of those Fields Avenue names that keeps turning up on lists of Angeles bars without ever telling you much. Let me be straight with you: as of August 2026 I have not been able to confirm from two independent sources that it's still open, so this page is filed as unverified and search engines are told not to take it as gospel. It's here because other guides and lists mention it, and I'd rather you know what it is (or was) than wonder.
As Harry remembers it, D'Club is the opposite of a go-go bar: a compact "fun pub" in the Fields Avenue vicinity, off the main pedestrian stretch, with a pool table, a jukebox or a DJ playing whatever the regulars want, waitresses rather than dancers, and beer at the cheap end of the avenue — the sort of place you end up on a weekday afternoon or when you want to sit with a mate and actually talk. Fun pubs are a Fields Avenue tradition going back to the base days: a bar, some girls behind it, a game of pool and no pressure. There's no stage, no cover, and no show; the entertainment is the company and the pool cue.
If you find it open, expect the basics: San Miguel at ₱100–130 or thereabouts, ladies' drinks well below Walking Street rates if the girls are on that system at all, a friendly hello and a slow afternoon. If you find the shutters down or a different name on the awning, that's Angeles for you — bars change hands and signs every dry season.
The Mail Bag is open on this one. If you've been in D'Club in 2026, drop me a line with the day, the price of your beer and whether the pool table's still level, and I'll update this page and take the "unverified" tag off. In the meantime, the safe bets for a cheap pub-style drink nearby are Kokomo's corner bar and Phillies, both with their own pages, and the Perimeter Road guide covers the wider cheap-bar scene.
