Muse Bar is one of the smaller go-go names from the far side of Walking Street — the directories list it in the same run as Shipwrecked and Kings Landing, on the opposite side of the strip from the Dollhouse cluster — and, as of August 2026, one I can’t confirm is still trading under that name from two current sources. It appears in the older listings and then goes quiet, which on this street can mean closed, renamed, or simply too small to leave much trace online. So the page is marked unverified: if you see ‘Muse’ lit up, go in and let the Horse know; if the frontage says something else, it’s a different bar and the advice below still holds.
Because I won’t invent detail, here’s what a small room in that stretch is like in general, and it will hold for Muse if it’s open. One main room, one stage — central or along a wall — with a ring of stools and some seating behind, a modest line-up of dancers working in rotation, greeters outside to wave you in, and a mamasan inside to make introductions if you ask. The system is the standard Walking Street one: you buy your own drinks, you buy her a ladies’ drink if you want her at your table, and you tip whoever looked after you at the end. No cover as a rule, and small-room prices — local beer around ₱120–160 and ladies’ drinks from about ₱300 in 2026 terms.
Stable tip: small rooms on the far side of the strip are quieter early and busier late, because the crowd works its way along from the Fields Avenue end. If you want a stool and a conversation, go before ten; if you want a full room, go after midnight when the Dollhouse overflow arrives.
Harry remembers Muse as one of the doorways you noticed on the third night, once the big names had worn off and you started reading the smaller signs. That’s often when Walking Street gets good — the marquee bars are the show, the little rooms are the town. If Muse is still one of them, treat it that way. If it isn’t, Shipwrecked, Kings Landing and Viking are within a few steps.
